About Get Health Tips
We check things before we recommend them. Here's who we are, how we work, and what you'll find here.
About Us
Most health content online is written to sell you something. Product recommendations that exist to collect commissions. "Expert" reviews that never question a single claim. Supplement breakdowns that list ingredients without mentioning a single dose. We started Get Health Tips because we were tired of reading all of it.
The premise is simple: check things properly before recommending them. That means reading the actual research, not just the marketing. It means being upfront when an ingredient is dosed too low to do much. It means writing the pros and the cons — even when it would be easier to write just the pros. And it means being honest about what a product or service is, and isn't, before anyone spends their money on it.
We'd rather publish less and get it right than publish more and get it wrong.
What We Cover
Get Health Tips has grown into more than a blog. Alongside our editorial content, we run a health apps directory and a health and fitness equipment store — both built around the same standard: honest, researched, no hype.
Men's Health
Supplement reviews, hormone health, ED product comparisons, and honest advice on what actually works as men age.
Weight Loss
What the evidence actually shows about fat loss, why most supplements fall short, and realistic plans built on consistency over crash diets.
Fitness Equipment
Treadmill comparisons, home gym gear reviews, and side-by-side breakdowns of the products worth buying — with links to our equipment store for pricing.
Health Apps
Reviews of mobile and web apps that help you track, manage, and improve your health — curated in our apps directory.
Wellness
Exercise, sleep, stress, and condition management — general health topics that don't fit one category but deserve the same honest treatment as everything else.
Product Comparisons
Head-to-head comparisons of competing products — natural vs. prescription, brand vs. brand — structured around helping you decide, not picking a winner for you.
How We Work
Every piece of content on this site goes through the same checklist before it publishes:
- We check the label, not just the marketing. For supplement reviews, that means looking at what's actually dosed on the supplement panel — not what the sales page says is "clinically proven."
- We read the research behind each ingredient. Not every study is equal — a mouse trial isn't the same as a human trial, and a study at 600mg doesn't tell you much about a product dosed at 50mg.
- We write the cons as well as the pros. If something falls short, we say so. A review that only tells you good news isn't a review — it's an ad with extra steps.
- We're upfront about commercial relationships. Some posts contain affiliate links. Where they do, we say so clearly — and our assessment of the product doesn't change because of them.
- We update when things change. Formulas get reformulated, prices change, products get discontinued. When we find out, we update the content rather than leaving outdated information live.
Our Contributors
Walt Reynolds
Men's Health Contributor
Walt has spent three decades watching the health and supplement industry overpromise and underdeliver. He covers men's health, supplement reviews, and product comparisons — and writes the reviews he wished someone had written for him when he was making the same decisions his readers are now making.
Get Health Tips publishes content across multiple health categories, with contributors who bring genuine subject-matter knowledge to each area. Our editorial standard applies across all of them: check the evidence, write honestly, and don't recommend anything you wouldn't stand behind personally.
Where to Find Us
We publish across most of the major platforms. Links to blog content are shared where platforms allow — some don't, so we work around that where necessary.
[Replace the # in the platform links above with your actual social media URLs]
A Note on Affiliate Links
Some pages on this site contain affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site running without charging for access to the content.
What it doesn't do is change what we write. If a product has a weak formula, we say so even if we're an affiliate for it. If a competitor's product is genuinely better for certain buyers, we say that too. The whole point of this site is that the honesty is the product — the moment we compromise that, there's no reason for anyone to read us.
